The Westley Hotel has a Car Park with spaces for up to approximately 120 vehicles. There is one accessible parking bay situated close to the Entrance. Car Parking is free of charge.
Access at Entrance
The Reception, Restaurant, Westley Suite and the Bar can all be accessed from the entrance closest to the Car Park which is the Restaurant and Reception Entrance. This entrance offers both stepped and ramped access into the building. There are three alternative entrances to Westley Hotel. Two of these are stepped and the third, the Bar Entrance, offers both stepped and ramped access.
The Reception is on the ground floor in a quiet, softly lit lobby with comfortable seating. There is ample room for wheelchair users to pull up alongside seated companions. The management will arrange for sign language or foreign language interpreters if they are requested prior to the visit. A wireless chip and pin machine makes payment by card easier for all customers.
The Hotel boasts a Restaurant, two Bars and a Conference Suite. All of these are situated on the ground floor with step free routes available from the Car Park and the Reception. Customer toilets are provided, including a unisex accessible toilet with baby changing facilities.
Access to all areas
Circulation throughout the ground floor of the Hotel is generally level and step free. Where steps are unavoidable, permanent or temporary ramps are provided. Please be aware that some customers may find the ramps too narrow or too steep. Please be advised that the Westley Arms has its own accessible entrance. There is comfortable seating provided at various points around the ground floor where guests may rest. All bedrooms are on the first floor and are not considered fully accessible. However, there is an annexe, the Town House, owned by the Hotel, adjacent to the car park entrance with bedrooms on the ground floor and grab rails fitted to the bathroom. Entry to this accommodation is via steps, however it may be suitable for some ambulant disabled guests.
